Due to the extremely successful and most popular option part for T1 cars - the aluminum C-hub suspension â“ XRAY responded to customer requests by creating a more affordable composite version of the entire C-hub suspension that proved to be such a great performance improvement part on small and especially carpet tracks. XRAY is happy to announce the official release of the new #30 0900 Composite C-hub Suspension Set, available as a complete upgrade set, that will enable you to upgrade your T1 or early T1 EVO2 into a T1 EVO2 2003 version. By purchasing this upgrade set, you will be able to upgrade to the very popular, high-performance C-hub suspension. Also included are several other FREE composite parts: composite front upper bumper holder, composite rear bumper, and composite transponder mount.

Purchasing information:
The #30 0900 Composite C-hub Suspension Set is an upgrade set that includes all necessary parts to upgrade front and rear pivot ball suspension to C-hub suspension. This set is not intended as a separate stand-alone option set; you must re-use several parts that are currently used in the pivot ball suspension. Important: The C-hub style front shock tower is not included in this kit, since the majority of T1 EVO2 kits include the proper front shock tower for use with C-hub suspension. For those kits (T1 and early T1 EVO2) that do not include the C-hub style front shock tower, you must purchase the C-hub style front shock tower separately (#30 2093 - graphite version, #30 2097 - composite version).

This new upgrade kit is expected to be available by the end of the March 2003 from all hobby stores. Please ask for part number #30 0900. If your car kit does not have the C-hub style front shock tower, ask for either the #30 2093 (graphite) or #30 2097 (composite) front shock tower.

Additional notes:
Different composite caster blocks and suspension arms of different hardness will soon be available from your local hobby store. A reference table that includes complete information will be available in the download area of the XRAY VIP Room.
Please note that blocks and arms of different hardness are designed for extra fine tuning and are designed to be used only for very high competition racing. These trick parts are used by other teams, but typically are only available to their factory team drivers. For local racing you may not need to purchase any of these additional blocks or arms, as the basic parts included in the upgrade kit are the very best for most conditions and are the best starting point.
